What is unique about the Phonak Lyric?

While traditional hearing aids capture and process sound from outside the ear, the Phonak Lyric works by using the natural anatomy of the ear to amplify and give a full, natural sound everywhere you go. Unlike any other hearing aid on the market, the Lyric is completely invisible to the world because it’s placed directly in the ear canal by a specially trained Chime Audiologist.

There’s no need to change batteries with the Lyric

The state-of-the-art hearing aid is at the forefront of new aural technology. The cleverly designed Lyric doesn’t require you to change or recharge batteries, so you can experience all-day quality hearing performance for months at a time - even while you sleep! This feature means that the Lyric is ideal for those with limited dexterity as there’s no need to take the device in and out of your ear to complete the often fiddly process of changing batteries.

How is the Phonak Lyric fitted?

The Lyric is fitted by a specialist Chime Audiologist, expertly placed 4mm away from your eardrum and deep in the ear canal where it can’t be seen and won’t fall out. The Lyric then stays placed in the ear canal until your next appointment with your audiologist.

We provide a monthly subscription for the Phonak Lyric which includes the assessment, placement and programming of your device in addition to any follow-ups, repairs and up to eight replacement devices per year.
